The MacKay Guardian™ Multi Elite pay station (“Elite”) has reached the end of life for its operating system. The cabinet, however, was designed to last much longer than the internal electronics.

For customers who own an Elite pay station, there is now a way to keep the equipment running without replacing the entire unit. Enter the MacKay Tango™ retrofit door.

The MacKay Tango™ retrofit door fits onto the Elite’s cabinet, uses the same cash box, printer, solar panel, power supply and high security keys but replaces the maintenance door along with several key internal electronics including:

• New CPU with colour LCD display and the latest operating system

• 4G modem

• Selection keypad and alphanumeric keypad (for Pay by Plate pay stations)

• Credit card reader

• Coin chute with escrow

• Optional Contactless reader.
